I like the game, controlling the bird is the nice part. the art and sounds are good.
But I get confused at the end, I don't know if that a glitch or the game meant to be played like that:
1) getting hit by the red birds should have a 100% chance to clear your current inventory, cats are 30%-90% depending on your encumbrance (visually indicated by home arrow color/size) - I could see the birds stop following you because they were supposed to see if you are carrying worms or not
2) infinite resources is definitely a bug
3) controlling multiple birds and being unable to go home is DEFINITELY a bug
thanks for identifying these issues and glad you enjoyed the game when it was playable :D
Thanks for highlighting the first point about the inventory, I didn't notice the inventory in the beginning, I was just focus on the birds.
But I replayed the game, and still, nothing happened. There is a sound when a hit by them but I don't loss any thing from the inventory. It must be a bug or somthing.
I do like this handmade art. Looks so cute and comfortable. I enjoyed.
Congrats for your submit! The concept is very cool and the pixel art is fine!
If I may, I would advise some features:
Both great additions, and we consciously made the decision to design with only one "action" button, mostly to see how terrible the logic would be to code it. It was definitely annoying for both us as coders, and more importantly, it seemed confusing for the player lol. We would definitely use your advice in the future.
Cool game ! I love the idea. The bird is a little hard to control though.
Congratulations !
